Welcome to a new week of exciting activities!  I really enjoyed your Demo Days presentations on Zoom last week.  It is amazing how many new skills you have either learned or improved upon since our school closure….cooking/baking, art. Legos, fishing, home construction, football/baseball techniques, inventing, piano, books, hiking, farming, landscaping, crafts, and so much more!  You should be VERY proud of all of your accomplishments during your time at home; your fifth grade teachers are proud of you. We look forward to our time on Zoom with you each week.  This Tuesday at 1:00, we will have a Pet Show on zoom; show off your pet — give his/her name, age, any special trick the pet may do, or whatever you want to share about the pet.  It you do not have a pet, you may share a photo of a previous pet or share a favorite childhood stuffed animal.  Also, this week we will wrap up the Civil Rights Movement in TN and begin our special study of TN and of our local history.
